Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Announces Cast for What the Butler Saw

The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble has announced the cast and creative team for Joe Orton’s What the Butler Saw, which will run January 14-March 11. Alan Patrick Kenny will direct.

Undressing, cross-dressing and sexual innuendoes abound in this send-up of the mental health profession, along with stabs at government, religion, literary aspiration, heterosexuality and homosexuality creating a breakneck comedy of licensed insanity.

The cast will include Jerry Della Salla, Ciaran Joyce, Melinda Parrett, Amanda Troop, Geoffrey Wade and John Walcutt.

What the Butler Saw‘s creative team will feature scenic designer Ellen Lenbergs, lighting designer Bosco Flanagan, costume designer Mylette Nora, prop designer Katherine S. Hunt, and sound designer John Thompson. Jennifer Lin will compose original music for the production.
