Fantasia Barrino Gives Birth to Son

Grammy Award winner Fantasia Barrino has has given birth to a baby boy, Dallas Xavier Barrino, according to People.com.

The singer and actress already has a 10-year-old daughter, Zion. She has not revealed the identity of Dallas’ father.

Barrino appeared on Broadway as Celie in The Color Purple, along with the show’s national tour.

She is perhaps best known for her appearances on American Idol. Among her other credits are playing herself in the television biopic Life Is Not a Fairy Tale: The Fantasia Barrino Story and such solo recordings as Back to Me.
