64th Annual Tony Awards Receives Producers Guild of America Nomination

The 64th Annual Tony Awards received a nomination for Best Live Entertainment/Talk Show from The Producers Guild of America. The ceremony will be held on January 31 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.


The Tonys will compete against Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher, and NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

Nominees for Best Comedy Series were 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, and Glee, while Best Drama Series nominees included Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, The Good Wife, and Mad Men.


Other series that received nominations included The Amazing Race, American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, Project Runway, Top Chef, American Masters, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Deadliest Catch, 30 for 30, and Undercover Boss.


Special honors will be presented to Steven Spielberg, Leslie Moonves, Don Mischer, and Stan Lee.
