Rex Smith to Head Cast of Blank Theatre Company’s The Cradle Will Rock

Rex Smith will head the cast of the Blank Theatre Company’s revival of Marc Blitzstein’s 1937 musical, The Cradle Will Rock, to be presented at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood, February 5-March 20, with an opening on February 12. Daniel Henning will direct.

In the musical, corporations and churches use their influence to shape laws to their
favor, unemployment hits new heights, and millions of Americans are losing their homes.

The cast will also include Tiffany Adams, Will Barker, Gigi Bermingham, Christopher Carroll, Rob Roy Cesar, Matthew Patrick Davis, Mikey Hawley, Jim Holdridge, Jack Laufer, Roland Rusinek, Meagan Smith, Lowe Taylor, David Trice, Peter Van Norden, Matt Wolpe, Adam Wylie, and Penelope Yates.

Among Smith’s many credits are the Broadway and film versions of The Pirates of Penzance.
