Four-time Grammy Award winner Lyle Lovett will join the cast of the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles' production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, to run December 1-19 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Ben Donenberg will direct the production, which will feature music by Lovett and choreography by Julie Arenal.

As previously reported, the production will star Academy Award and Emmy Award winner Helen Hunt as Beatrice and Tom Irwin as Benedick, with Dakin Matthews (Leonato), Stephen Root (Don John), David Ogden Stiers (Dogberry), as well as Chris Butler, Ramon De Ocampo, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Grace Gummer, Brian Joseph, Greta Jung, Geoffrey Lower, Anthony Manough, Jared Sakren, Fred Sanders, Sara Watkins, and Sean Watkins.

The creative team will include scenic designer Douglas Rogers, lighting designer Trevor Norton, costume designer Holly Poe Durbin, and sound designer by Adam Phalen.
