Michael K. Lee, Jennifer Paz to Join Jason Robert Brown for Last 5 Years Benefit Show

Michael K. Lee and Jennifer Paz will join composer Jason Robert Brown for a one-night-only performance of Brown’s The Last 5 Years on January 9 at East West Players’ David Henry Hwang Theater in Los Angeles. John Lawrence Rivera will direct the production, which will be a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The musical follows Jamie (Lee) and Cathy (Paz) through the last five years of their relationship, from beginning to end, and from end to beginning. Lee and Paz previously performed the musical at East West Players, and both are current Ovation Award nominees for their work in the production Additionally Rivera has been nominated for an Ovation Award for his direction of the piece.
