David Arquette, Mireille Enos, et al. to Join Annette Bening in The Female of the Species at Geffen Playhouse

Screen star David Arquette and Tony nominee Mireille Enos will join the previously announced Annette Bening in Joanna Murray-Smith’s comedy The Female of the Species, to run February 2 – March 14 at the Geffen Playhouse. Randall Arney will direct the production.

Murray-Smith’s play focuses on a feminist author who is taken hostage by a former student. The company will also feature Merritt Wever, Julian Sands, and Josh Stamberg.

The creative team will include Takeshi Kata (scenic design), David Mickelson (costume design), Daniel Ionazzi (lighting design), and Richard Woodbury (original music and sound design).
