Constance Hauman, Brent Schindele to Star in Souvenir at Falcon Theatre

Renowned opera singer Constance Hauman will star as Florence Foster Jenkins, alongside Brent Schindele who will play her accompanist Cosme McMoon, in the Falcon Theatre‘s production of Stephen Temperley’s Souvenir, to run January 27 – February 28. Gregg W. Brevoort will direct the production.

The play focuses on the real-life story of Jenkins, a New York socialite and tone-deaf diva, whose off-key recitals earned standing ovations and cultish fame.

Hauman has performed throughout the world with companies such as Teatre Champs Elysées (Paris), L’Opéra de Nice, L’Opéra de Marseille, L’Opéra de Rhin, L’Opéra de Tours, L’Opéra de Liege, and Covent Garden (London). Her credits include Cunegonde in Candide, Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos, the title role in Alban Berg’s Lulu,’Alice/Renee in Olga Neuwirth’s Lost Highway, and her original one woman multimedia recital Exiles in Paradise.
