Carey Mulligan Wins L.A. Film Critics Circle Award

Carey Mulligan, who starred in the recent Broadway revival of The Seagull, has been named Best Actress by Los Angeles Film Critics Circle for her work in An Education.
The Hurt Locker was named Best Picture and earned Best Director for Kathryn Bigelow. Other acting awards went to Jeff Bridges for Crazy Heart, Christoph Waltz for Inglourious Basterds, and Mo’Nique for Precious.
Mulligan is also currently on screen in Brothers and will be seen next year in Wall Street 2 and Never Let Me Go.
