Kristin Chenoweth, Hugh Jackman, Daniel Radcliffe, et al. Receive People’s Choice Award Nominations

The nominees for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards have been announced. The prizes will be presented in a ceremony to be held on Wednesday, January 11 and broadcast live on CBS.


FOX’s Glee has received a nomination for Favorite Network TV Comedy. Series regulars Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, and Cory Monteith have also received nominations. In addition, Kristin Chenoweth and Gwyneth Paltrow have been nominated in the Favorite TV Guest Star category for their work on the show.

Among the other nominees are stage veterans Hugh Jackman and Daniel Radcliffe, nominated for the Favorite Movie Actor award, alongside Johnny Depp, Robert Pattinson, and Ryan Reynolds. Radcliffe has also been nominated in the Favorite Star Under 25 category while Jackman has received a second nomination in the Favorite Action Movie Star category.

The nominees for Favorite Movie Actress are stage and screen stars Anne Hathaway and Julia Roberts, along with Jennifer Aniston, Emma Stone, and Reese Witherspoon. Hathaway has received a second nomination in the Favorite Animated Movie Voice category for the film Rio.

In addition, Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, George Clooney, Harrison Ford and Tom Hanks have all been nominated in the Favorite Movie Icon category. Other People’s Choice Award nominees are Neil Patrick Harris, Hugh Laurie, Jim Parsons, and Natalie Portman.
