Four West Side Story Songs to Be Featured on November 8 Episode of FOX’s Glee

Four songs from Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim’s score to West Side Story will be featured on the November 8 episode of the hit FOX series Glee. In addition to the previously reported “America,” performed by Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, and Harry Shum, Jr., and “A Boy Like That,” sung by Rivera and Lea Michele, the show will feature Glee cast members singing “One Hand One Heart” and “Tonight.”

The students at the fictional William McKinley High School are presenting the classic tuner by Bernstein, Sondheim, and Arthur Laurents as the school musical. Other West Side Story songs that have been previously heard on Glee this season are “Somewhere,” “Cool” and “Something’s Coming.”

In addition, the upcoming episode of Glee will feature a cover of Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl,” delivered by Darren Criss as Blaine and by the fictional singing group The Warblers.

The series also stars Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Darren Criss, Jessalyn Gilsig, Dot-Marie Jones, and Mike O’Malley.
