Sean "Diddy" Combs, Usher et al. to Perform on American Music Awards

Broadway veteran Sean Combs (a.k.a. Diddy) will perform as part of his new group Diddy-Dirty Money on the American Music Awards, to be broadcast live on ABC from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 21.

As previously reported, Broadway veteran and music superstar Lance Bass will serve as host, and performers will include another Broadway veteran, Usher, who received three 2010 AMA nominations. Additional performers for the ceremony include Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, P!nk, and Ne-Yo.

Among the many artists who received nominations are Eminem, Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, B.o.B., Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Drake, Sade, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Train, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Michael Buble, Shakira, Jason Aldean, and the Black Eyed Peas.

In addition, Glee, The Music: Volume 3 Showstoppers is nominated for Favorite Soundtrack Album, along with AC/DC for Iron Man 2 and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
