Cher Set for November 18 Ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre

Oscar winner Cher will participate in a Hand and Footprint Ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 18 at 5pm.

Cher has been performing at the Coliseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. She stars in the new film Burlesque, which opens nationwide on November 24

In 1982, she made her Broadway debut as Sissy in Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean and later reprised the role in Robert Altman’s film adaptation.

She won an Oscar for her work in Moonstruck and her other film credits include Silkwood, Mermaids, Mask, and The Witches of Eastwick.

She is also an award-winning recording artist and television star, having worked with her first husband, Sonny Bono, and later having a successful solo career.
