Chance Theater Announces 2010 Season

The Chance Theater in Anaheim Hills, California, has announced the selections for its 2010 season.

The four-play Mainstage Series will include Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s musical Merrily We Roll Along (January 29 – March 7), followed by the Southern California premiere of Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter by Julie Marie Myatt (April 16 – May 16). A Broadway musical to be announced will follow, July 2 – August 8, and the Mainstage season will conclude with the Orange County premiere of Edward Albee’s Tony Award-winning play The Goat, or Who is Sylvia? (September 24 – October 24).

The two-play Holiday Series will consist of the seventh anniversary production of Chance favorite The Eight: Reindeer Monologues (November 24-December 19) and a musical version of The Secret Garden (November 19-December 23), with book by Marsha Norman and music and lyrics by Lucy Simon.
