Damon Kirsche, Tracy Lore, Tessa Grady to Star in MTW’s 42nd Street

Musical Theatre West will open its 60th anniversary season with the classic musical 42nd Street, running October 26-November 11 at Carpenter Performing Arts Center. Jon Engstrom will direct and choreograph, with musical direction by Michael Borth.

With a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, music by Harry Warren, and lyrics by Al Dubin and based on the 1933 Busby Berkeley movie musical, 42nd Street tells the story of a starry-eyed young actress who comes to New York to audition for a Broadway musical.

Leading the cast will be Damon Kirsche (Julian Marsh), Tracy Lore (Dorothy Brock), and Tessa Grady (Peggy Sawyer). They will be joined by Zach Hess, Caitlyn Calfas, Jamie Torcellini, Barbara Heart, Paul Ainsley, Evie Hutton, Lindsay Anderson, and Christopher Guilmet.
