Mindy Kaling, Patton Oswalt, et al. Set for LACMA’s Breakfast Club Reading

Mindy Kaling, Patton Oswalt, J.K. Simmons, and James Van Der Beek are among the actors set to participate in a live reading of the 1985 John Hughes classic The Breakfast Club at 7:30pm on Thursday, October 20 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Bing Theatre, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Oscar nominee Jason Reitman will direct the reading.
The reading is part of the new monthly series of live readings of classic and beloved films to raise funds for Film Independent.
Tickets for the event are sold out but a stand-by line will begin forming at 6 p.m. at the Hammer Pavilion at LACMA.
