The North American tour of Pandemonium: The Lost and Found Orchestra, from Stomp co-creators Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, will play play a Los Angeles engagement at Royce Hall at UCLA, November 16-18.

The show, which debuted in the UK in 2006, transforms everyday objects into a plethora of invented instruments. It is performed by the LFO (Lost and Found Orchestra), and recreates every section of a symphony orchestra, using musical saws, bottles, whirly toys, and traffic cones.

Cresswell serves as onstage conductor of the 26-member company and will also perform. In addition, a 30-member Los Angeles choir will join the company on stage.

As previously reported, the tour had been canceled following its engagement in Raleigh, North Carolina, which concluded on October 3. At that time, The Chicago Tribune quoted one of the show’s producers as saying continuing was “unrealistic in the current economic climate.”

However, the LA engagement has been confirmed, and the show’s website is now reporting that it will be rescheduling the canceled engagements in Washington, Chicago, and Boston at a later date.
