David Campbell Will Celebrate Release of On Broadway CD with Performances in CA and NY

David Campbell will celebrate the release of his new album On Broadway with a series of appearances in both California and New York, beginning with concerts on November 23-24 at Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles. Campbell’s other engagements include his previously announced, appearance at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency (November 28 – December 2), as well as a one-night-only performance in San Francisco at The Rrazz Room on December 5.

Campbell’s album will be released by Masterworks Broadway on November 2. The 14-track disc includes such classic songs as “Hey There” from The Pajama Game, “Being Alive” from Company, “Luck Be a Lady” from Guys and Dolls, and “What Kind of Fool Am I?” from Stop the World, I Want to Get Off as well as the world premiere recording of “Goodbye” from Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman’s Catch Me If You Can. On the disc, the performer is accompanied by a full orchestra conducted by Rob Fisher.

In his native Australia, Campbell has starred in such musicals as Les Miserables and Shout His New York credits include Sondheim’s Saturday Night and Babes in Arms at Encores! as well as cabaret appearances.
