Theater and cabaret star Ute Lemper will perform at a gala for the Berlin Wall Project, presented by The Wende Museum and Archive of the Cold War in Los Angeles, on November 8.

The performance is part of the 20th anniversary commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Lemper — who made her Broadway debut in the revival of Chicago and has appeared frequently at such clubs as the Cafe Carlyle and Joe’s Pub — will sing “Ghosts of Berlin,” a song she wrote about her memories in Berlin during the 1980s, the final years of the cold war.

The gala evening will also include a DJ set by Shepard Fairey, a silent auction, curator-led tours of The Wende Museum, and more. Other artists participating in the Berlin Wall Project include Kent Twitchell, Shephard Fairey, and Theirry Noir.

Gala tickets are $250.00, and can be purchased by calling 310- 216-1600, Extension 305. For more information, visit www.wallproject.org.
