The performance is part of the 20th anniversary commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Lemper -- who made her Broadway debut in the revival of Chicago and has appeared frequently at such clubs as the Cafe Carlyle and Joe's Pub -- will sing "Ghosts of Berlin," a song she wrote about her memories in Berlin during the 1980s, the final years of the cold war.
The gala evening will also include a DJ set by Shepard Fairey, a silent auction, curator-led tours of The Wende Museum, and more. Other artists participating in the Berlin Wall Project include Kent Twitchell, Shephard Fairey, and Theirry Noir.
Gala tickets are $250.00, and can be purchased by calling 310- 216-1600, Extension 305. For more information, visit www.wallproject.org.
