The Pee-wee Herman Show, starring Paul Reubens, originally scheduled for the Music Box @ Fonda, November 8 – December 20, has announced a change of venue and dates. The production will now run at Club Nokia @ LA Live, January 12 – February 7. Alex Timbers will direct.

The stage production will be a “re-imagined” version of the show, and will feature Pee-wee regulars, including Miss Yvonne, Mailman Mike, Cowboy Curtis, and Jambi the Genie.

Reubens originated the character of Pee-wee Herman in 1981 at the Groundlings Theatre, in a show aimed at adult audiences. He achieved national fame with the release of the film Pee-wee’s Big Adventure in 1985, followed by a children’s television show, Pee-wee’s Playhouse, during the late 1980s.

Ticket-holders to The Music Box Theatre may exchange tickets by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-653-8000 starting October 7 at 10 am. Ticket sales for the engagement at Club Nokia @ LA Live will begin on October 15.
