Center Theatre Group Announces Entertainment Stimulus Package

Center Theatre Group has announced a new ticket discount program, the CTG Entertainment Stimulus Package, which will make 100,000 tickets available at a $20 ticket price, for all performances in CTG’s three theaters (the Ahmanson Theatre, the Mark Taper Forum and the Kirk Douglas Theatre) during the 2008-2009 season.

The discount tickets will be available from the first day of sale for each individual show, and can be purchased online, by phone or in person at the box office. $20 tickets are currently available for Spring Awakening at the Ahmanson Theatre and The School of Night at the Mark Taper Forum. The $20 tickets for “The Little Dog Laughed” at the Kirk Douglas Theatre will be on sale beginning this Sunday, October 26.

Additional productions that will feature the discounted tickets include Minsky’s, Frost/Nixon, Ain’t Misbehavin’ and Dame Edna: My First Last Tour at the Ahmanson; Taking Over, Bengal Tiger in the Baghdad Zoo, and Heddatron at the Kirk Douglas; and Pippin, Lydia, Uncle Vanya, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Parade, and Palestine, New Mexico at the Taper.
