Nicholas D’Agosto, Kate Maher, Lawrence Pressman Set for Antaeus You Can’t Take it With You

The Los Angeles-based Antaeus Company will present a fully double cast revival of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart’s classic comedy You Can’t Take it With You, to run October 11-December 9 under the direction of Gigi Bermingham.

The ensemble includes Kate Maher and Lizzie Zerebko sharing the role of Alice Sycamore; Paul Eiding and Marcello Tubert as Paul Sycamore; Julia Fletcher and Eve Gordon as Penelope Sycamore; John Apicella and Josh Clark as Mr. Kirby; Shannon Holt and Amelia White as Mrs. Kirby; Nicholas D’Agosto and Jeremy Glazer as Tony Kirby; Tony Abatemarco and Jeremy Guskin as Mr. De Pinna; Larry Bates and John Wesley as Donald; Ryan Vincent Anderson and Michael Hyland as Ed Carmichael; Kellie Matteson and Linda Park as Essie Carmichael; Rhonda Aldrich and Janellen Steininger as Gay Wellington; Jeremy Shouldis and Patrick Wenk-Wolff as Henderson; Jeff Doba and Jacob Sidney as Boris Kolenkhov; Veralyn Jones and Karen Malina White as Rheba; Caleb Chomer and David Glasser as Jim; and Lawrence Pressman, Joseph Ruskin and Ned Schmidtke sharing the role of Martin “Grandpa” Vanderhof.

The creative team includes Tom Buderwitz (scenic design), Jeremy Pivnick (lighting design), A. Jeffrey Schoenberg (costume design), Jeff Gardner (sound design), and Heather Ho (properties design).

Set during the Great Depression the play follows two families, the Sycamores and the Kirbys, as two members of the younger generation fall in love.
