Broadway veterans Corbin Bleu, Charles S. Dutton and Stephen Lang will star in Chiller's TV movie adaptation of the classic W.W. Jacobs short story “The Monkey’s Paw,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Macon Blair is penning the adaptation, which centers on a talisman that grants three wishes, but perhaps not the way the possessor expects – or wants. Brett Simmons is directing.
The cast will also include Tauvia Dawn, Michelle Pierce, and C.J. Thomason.
Bleu, best known for the High School Musical films, has starred on Broadway in Godspell and In the Heights. Dutton has received Tony nominations for his work in The Piano Lesson and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and Emmy nominations for roles on The Practice and Without a Trace. Lang was Tony-nominated for The Speed of Darkness, with other Main Stem credits including Wait Until Dark, Hamlet, and Death of a Salesman.
