Reba McEntire to Star in ABC’s Malibu Country

Broadway veteran and country music superstar Reba McEntire will star in a new ABC series Malibu Country, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
McEntire will also executive produce the show, about a woman who divorces her cheating husband and moves her family from Nashville to Malibu, where she attempts to reignite her own singing career.
McEntire starred on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun and appeared as Nellie Forbush in the Carnegie Hall concert of South Pacific, which aired on PBS. She previously starred on the TV series, Reba.
