Peter Mac to Perform Becoming Judy at The Gardenia

Peter Mac will offer two performances of his show Becoming Judy at The Gardenia, September 9-10. Bryan Miller will serve as musical director.

In the show, Mac explores his adolescence in Long Island and the ways in which he found escape in the music of — and entertainment provided by — Judy Garland, and during the course of the performance, Mac transforms into the legend to whom he attributes his survival.

The play is based on the off-Broadway play Judy and Me and the forthcoming documentary, Becoming Judy.
