Actors Alan Cumming and Brittany Snow will be honored at the Point Foundation’s fourth annual Los Angeles benefit to be held on September 25 at Raleigh Studios Hollywood. The organization is the nation’s largest scholarship-granting group for LGBT students of merit.

Cumming will receive the Point Courage Award. He won the Tony Award for Cabaret and also starred on Broadway in The Threepenny Opera and Design for Living. He will soon be seen on the big screen in Julie Taymor’s adaptation of The Tempest and will begin his second season on CBS’ The Good Wife as Eli Gold, for which he received a 2010 Emmy Award nomination. He recently performed his solo show I Bought A Blue Car Today, based on his CD, at the Edinburgh Festival.

Snow will receive the group’s inaugural Point Horizon Award. She played Amber von Tussle in the film version of Hairspray and starred on NBC’s American Dreams.
