Raphael Sbarge, Greg Watanabe, et al. Set for SCR’s The Happy Ones

Nike Doukas, Geoffrey Lower, Rapahel Sbarge, and Greg Watanabe will star in South Coast Repertory‘s world premiere production of Julie Marie Myatt’s The Happy Ones, to run September 27-October 18. The production will be directed by Martin Benson.
The play, which is set in the 1970s, concerns Walter, an appliance store owner whose perfect life falls apart, and relies on his friends: Gary, a minister with a taste for alcohol; Mary Ellen, Gary’s partying girlfriend; and Bao, a Vietnamese refugee haunted by his troubled past.
The creative team includes Ralph Funicello (set design), Angela Balogh Calin (costume design), Tom Ruzika (lighting design), and Paul James Prendergast (sound design).
