The line-up has been announced for UCLA Live’s Seventh International Theatre Festival, to run October 14-December 21 on the UCLA campus.

Due to an unexpected cancellation of The Tell Tale Heart, the Festival will now begin with Garry Hynes’ Druid Theatre Company’s productions of John Millington Synge’s The Playboy of the Western World and The Shadow of the Glen (October 14-18), and choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s new work Myth (October 17-18).

Up next will be director-actor Robert Lepage’s The Blue Dragon (November 12-22), Bulgarian director Dimiter Gotscheff’s production of Anton Chekhov’s Ivanov (December 3-7) with the German theater company Volksbuhne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, and English director-performer Andrew Dawson’s solo piece Space Panaroma paired with the dance piece Quatre Mains.
