Beau Bridges, Amy Madigan Set for The Woody Show

Beau Bridges, Amy Madigan, and other special guests will read from the Will Geer Archives at the Theatricum Botanicum, October 5 at 1 pm, as a tribute to Woody Guthrie.

The event consists of the words and music of Woody Guthrie, performed by members of the Geer family and their friends. A pre-show Ole Mole Garden Buffet begins at 11:30 am.

Bridges is a three-time Emmy Award-winning actor and a two-time Golden Globe winner for his work on Without Warning: The James Brady Story, The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom, and The Second Civil War. Madigan starred in the 1992 Broadway revival of A Streetcar Named Desire and her recent television credits include HBO’s Carnivale and ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.
