The national touring company of Mary Poppins celebrated its Los Angeles opening at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on August 10.

Rachel Wallace stars in the title role, with Nicolas Dromard as Bert, Michael Dean Morgan as George Banks, Elizabeth Broadhurst as Winifred Banks, Tregoney Shepherd as Mrs. Brill, Blake Segal as Robertson Ay, Q. Smith as Miss Andrew and The Bird Woman, and Ryan Hilliard as Admiral Boom and the Bank Chairman. Performances in the role of Jane Banks are alternated between Marissa Ackerman and Cherish Myers. Performances in the role of Michael Banks are alternated between Zach Timson and Zachary Mackiewicz.

Opening night guests included composer Richard M. Sherman and actors Reatha Grey, Olivia Holt, Alec Mapa, Dillon Riley Snyder, and Kiernan Shipka.
