Dick Van Dyke to Receive SAG Life Achievement Award

Stage and screen veteran Dick Van Dyke will be honored with the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award during the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, set to take place on Sunday, January 27.

A recipient of five Emmys, a Tony Award, and a Grammy, Van Dyke is best known for his appearances in the films Mary Poppins Chitty Chitty Bang-Bang, and Bye Bye Birdie, his 1960s sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show, and the 1990s drama series Diagnosis: Murder. His stage credits also include The Music Man, Damn Yankees, and Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life.
