Aya Cash, Patrick Heusinger, Jennifer Ikeda and Greg Keller will join the previously announced star Jeff Goldblum in the Center Theatre Group’s West Coast premiere of Seminar, by Theresa Rebeck. Sam Gold will direct the play at the Ahmanson Theatre, October 10-November 18, with an opening on October 17.

In Seminar, four aspiring young writers take a private tutorial with international literary figure Leonard (played by Goldblum).

The production at the Ahmanson features the complete Broadway design team: set and costume design by David Zinn, lighting design by Ben Stanton and original music and sound design by John Gromada.

Goldblum previously played his role on Broadway, and other theater credits include The Pillowman on Broadway and productions of Speed-the-Plow and The Prisoner of Second Avenue at London’s Old Vic. Among his many films are The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Independence Day, and Nashville. He received an Oscar nomination for directing the live action short Little Surprises, and his Emmy nomination for a guest appearance on Will & Grace.

Cash’s theater credits include The Other Place, Killers and Other Family and From Up Here, among many others. Heusinger originated the role of Luke in the Broadway and ff-Broadway productions of Next Fall and is best known for his roles on Royal Pains and Gossip Girl. Ikeda’s New York credits include Top Girls at Manhattan Theatre Club and Seascape at Lincoln Center. Keller made his Broadway debut earlier this year in Wit, and last appeared at the Ahmanson in 33 Variations.
