Sirena Irwin, Bill Mendieta, et al. Set for I Love Lucy Live on Stage

Casting has been announced for Kim Flagg and Rick Sparks’ I Love Lucy Live on Stage, to run September 24 – December 30 at Greenway Court Theatre. Sparks will direct the production, which will have musical direction by Wayne Moore.

The show has been adapted from the popular 1950s sitcom and centers on the “filming” of two episodes of the iconic show that takes place in Lucy and Ricky Ricardo’s New York apartment. The production will include not only the material from the episodes, but also a television studio host and vintage-style live musical commercials.

The company will feature Sirena Irwin (Lucy Ricardo), Bill Mendieta (Ricky Ricardo), Bill Chott (Fred Mertz), and Lisa Joffrey (Ethel Mertz), along with Noel Britton, Tom Christensen, Steven Connor, Gregory Franklin, Ed Martin, Denise Moses, Cindy Sciacca, Amy Tolsky, Gina Torrecilla, and Mark Christopher Tracy.

The creative team will include scenic designer Aaron Henderson; lighting designer Jeremy Pivnick; sound designer Cricket S. Myers; and costume designer Shon LeBlanc.
