Samara Frame to Star in My Name is Rachel Corrie at Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum
Samara Frame will star in the controversial solo play, My Name is Rachel Corrie, at The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum, on Thursdays, September 1-22 at 8pm. Susan Angelo will direct.
Composed from the journals, letters and emails of a 23-year-old American peace activist who died protesting the demolition of a Palestinian home in Gaza, the play was edited by Alan Rickman and Katherine Viner. A moderated audience talk-back will follow each performance.
Frame’s Los Angeles theater credits include Haley Walker in the one-woman show Bad Dates; Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Queen Anne in The Three Musketeers; Elise in The Miser; Arviragus in Cymbeline; and Celia in As You Like It.
