The Center Theatre Group's production of Melissa James Gibson's This opened at the Kirk Douglas Theatre on Sunday, August 7. Daniel Aukin has directed the production, which runs through August 28. The play focuses on Jane, a single mom in her late 30s who has shut down after her husband's death. The production stars Saffron Burrows, Eisa Davis, Glenn Fitzgerald, Gilles Marini, and Darren Pettie.

Among the opening night guests were actors Rib Hillis, Terri Ivens, Ricki Lake, Camryn Manheim, and Debra Wilson.
