James Carpinello, Rob Morrow, Evan Rachel Wood, et al. Set for Black Sun Reading

James Carpinello, Rob Morrow, Evan Rachel Wood, Gina Loring, and Liam Springtorpe will participate in a reading of the previously reported new musical under development, Black Sun, by playwright Stephen Belber and Counting Crows front man Adam Duritz. The reading will take place on Thursday, August 11at 7:30pm at Matilija Auditorium, as part of the Ojai Playwrights Conference.

In related news, the cast for the OPC All Star Cabaret, to be held Friday, August 12 at 9pm, will include Annabelle Gurwitch, Steve Connell, Stephen Belber, Gina Loring and Trieu Tran. The cabaret replaces the previously reported The Zimbabwe Project, which was cancelled due to scheduling conflict by Danai Gurira.
