Alex Trebek to Host AFI’s Great American Movie Quiz at Hollywood Bowl

Emmy Award winner Alex Trebek will host AFI’s Great American Movie Quiz, to be held at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, September 4 at 7:30pm.

The event will include 20 multiple choice questions covering film trivia from every genre and decade. Members of the audience, each furnished with a set of multi-colored glow sticks, will be asked to reveal their answers by selecting the glow stick that corresponds to their choice. Questions about the movies and music are then answered live by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by David Newman, as a corresponding movie clip plays on the Bowl’s big screen.

Trebek is the winner of five Daytime Emmy Awards as Outstanding Game Show Host of the popular show Jeopardy!
