Plays by Lee Blessing, Wendy McLeod, et al. Part of Attic’s One Act Play Festival

The Attic Theatre and Film Center has announced the plays that will be presented as part of the 19th annual Denise Ragan Wiesenmeyer One Act Play Festival (formerly known as the One Act Marathon), to run September 3-19.

The festival will include Into You, a new play from Lee Blessing that explores the dynamics and relationship between three female college roommates. James Carey will direct the piece.

Also on the festival’s lineup are Wendy MacLeod’s Undescended, which is a comic monologue about a forty-year-old barista who, on the day of giving birth to her first child, is thrown for a loop when she is visited by an angel; Frank Anthony Polito’s Blue Tuesday, which centers on a couple about to celebrate their second wedding anniversary on September 11, 2001; and Allison M. Volk’s The Last Two People on the Platform, which focuses on 2 characters are trapped in a play.
