Telly Leung, who recently appeared in the Hollywood Bowl’s concert staging of Rent offered a performance of his show Who Loves Ya Baby at The Inner Circle at the Magic Castle on August 12. Alan Muraoka directed the concert, which will feature musical direction by Gary Adler.
Among the celebrities in the house were his recent Rent co-stars Wayne Brady, Tracie Thomas, Eric B. Anthony, and Tricia Kelly, as well as Kate Linder, a star of the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless, and Alvin Ing, who starred in the original production of Pacific Overtures.
Leung’s Broadway credits include Flower Drum Song, Pacific Overtures, and Rent. In addition, he was seen as Boq in the original Chicago company of Wicked.
