Stage and screen star David Arquette will present Beacher’s Madhouse, a Vaudeville-inspired theater development, at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, with a projected opening in Fall 2010.

The show was created by Jeff Beacher, who debuted the comedy variety hit in 2002 in NYC, holding shows at both the Supper Club and Madison Square Garden’s Paramount Theater. In 2003, Beacher’s Madhouse headlined at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, selling out for five years straight.

There will be over a dozen variety acts nightly, including burlesque dancers, Go-Go girls, midget impersonators, live animals, acrobats, contortionists, and fire-breathers.

Beacher’s Madhouse will be permanently located within the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel at 7000 Hollywood Blvd, hosting shows Wednesday through Saturday. The completely renovated space is located on the lower level. Guests will enter the theater through a passageway, hidden behind a library bookcase, and travel through what press notes describe as “a light tunnel from ordinary existence into a fantasy-filled world.”

Arquette recently appeared opposite Annette Bening in the Geffen Playhouse’s production of Joanna Murray-Smith’s The Female of the Species. As previously reported, he will once again return to the Scream film franchise for Scream 4, with other screen credits including Hamlet 2 and Tim Blake Nelson’s adaptation of the Off-Broadway play The Grey Zone.
