Peter Gallagher, Marissa Jaret Winokur, et al. to Honor Stephen Schwartz at Festival of New American Musicals Closer

Peter Gallagher, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Graham Phillips, David Burnham, Susan Egan, and Georgia Stitt will be among the performers at the closing party for the 2009 Festival of New American Musicals, which will honor composer Stephen Schwartz. The event, which will feature songs from Schwartz’ musicals, will be held on Saturday, August 22 at 3 pm and is open to the public with donation.

In related news, there will be free and open to the public Post-Festival readings of Bubble Boy, with music and lyrics by Cinco Paul, and book by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, and direction by Scott Schwartz. They will be held at the Frank Wells Theatre at The Walt Disney Studios on August 25 and 26 at 8 pm.
