Glee star Naya Rivera, who plays Santana Lopez on the hit Fox show, was recently married in Mexico in a surprise Cabo San Lucas ceremony, according to People. The magazine reported that Rivera wedded actor Ryan Dorsey, a longtime friend.
The July 19 ceremony reportedly involved only a small group of family members. In April, Rivera ended a six-month engagement to hip-hop recording artist Big Sean.
Rivera was born and raised in Valencia, California, and in 2009 she was cast on Glee in the role of Santana Lopez, a brash high school cheerleader. Her other TV work has included recurring roles on The Bernie Mac Show and Smart Guy.
Glee, the popular series about the lovably quirky members of a competitive high school show choir team, will end its television run this year after its sixth season.
"We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the couple reported to People.
