Jonathan Cake, Lesli Margherita, Stephen Spinella Set for The Grönholm Method

Jonathan Cake, Graham Hamilton, Lesli Margherita, and Stephen Spinella will star in The Grönholm Method, written by Jordi Galcerán Ferrer, and translated by Anne Garcia-Romero and Mark St. Germain. BT McNichollwill direct this American premiere, to play The Falcon Theatre August 7-September 30, with an opening on August 17.

In the play, four corporate warriors come together in one room to compete for one senior management position using “The Grönholm Method,” a system meant to separate the weak from the strong.

Cake performed on Broadway in Medea and has numerous Off-Broadway and London stage credits, as well as television appearances on Desperate Housewives, among others. Hamilton has appeared on many Southern California stages, most recently at A Noise Within in The Illusion.

Margherita received the Laurence Oliver Award for her performance in Zorro the Musical and recently won the 2011 Ovation Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Kiss Me Kate at Reprise! Spinella is a two-time Tony Award-winning actor for his performance as ‘Prior Walter’ in the original Broadway productions of Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and Angels in America: Perestroika, and he was also Tony-nominated for his work in James Joyce’s The Dead.
