Usman Ally, Terence Archie, and Desmin Borges will once again star in Kristoffer Diaz’ The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, when it performs at the Geffen Playhouse.

They will be reprising, respectively, their roles as Vigneshwar Paduar (aka VP), Chad Deity, and Macedonio Guerra (aka Mace), which they originated in the 2010 New York production. They will be joined by Steve Valentine in the role of Everett K. Olson (aka EKO) and an additional actor to be announced. Edward Torres will once again direct, as he did for both the NYC production and the show’s 2009 world premiere at Chicago’s Victory Gardens Theater.

The play, which was a 2010 Pulitzer Prize finalist, and recipient of the 2011 New York Times Play Prize, the Obie Award for Best New American Play and the Lucille Lortel Award for Best New Play, slams together thrilling spectacle, incredible characters and geopolitical allegory into an invigorating theatrical experience you can’t find on pay-perview.

The production team will include set designer Brian Sidney Bembridge, costume designer Christina Haatainen Jones, lighting designer Jesse Klug, sound designer Mikhail Fiksel, projection designer Peter Nigrini, and fight choreographer David Woolley.
