Amy Madigan to Guest Star on TNT’s Memphis Beat

Stage veteran Amy Madigan will guest-star on the season finale of TNT’s Memphis Beat, according to a report on TVGuide.com.

She will play the head of a crime family feuding with another clan, whose head will be played by Lance Henriksen.

The show centers on Dwight Hendricks (Jason Lee), a quirky Memphis police detective with an intimate connection to the city, a passion for blues music and a close relationship with his mother.

Madigan played Stella in the 1992 Broadway revival of A Streetcar Named Desire and starred in the 1990 L.A. production of Eduardo Machado’s Stevie Wants to Play the Blues. As previously reported, she is also scheduled to appear in Beth Henley’s The Jacksonian at the Geffen Playhouse in early 2012. Her film and television credits include Field of Dreams, Carnivale, Fringe, Grey’s Anatomy, and Law & Order.
