PHOTO FLASH: Neil Patrick Harris, Aaron Tveit, Vanessa Hudgens In Rehearsal for Hollywood Bowl’s Rent

Neil Patrick Harris’ production of Jonathan Larson’s award-winning musical Rent, to run August 6-8 at the Hollywood Bowl, has begun rehearsals.
As previously reported, the show will star Aaron Tveit as Roger, Skylar Astin as Mark, Vanessa Hudgens as Mimi, Nicole Scherzinger as Maureen, Wayne Brady as Collins, Tracie Thoms as Joanne, Collins Pennie as Benny, Telly Leung as Angel, and Gwen Stewart as the “Seasons of Love” vocalist.
Harris has appeared on stage in Rent, as well as Assassins and Sweeney Todd. He currently stars on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother and guest starred on Glee, receiving 2010 Emmy Award nominations for both roles. In addition, he played the title role for many years on Doogie Howser, MD. He has also hosted the Tony Awards and the Emmy Awards.
