Norman P. Dixon to Present Solo Show at NoHo Arts Center

Becoming Norman, a new solo show with original music, written and performed by Norman P. Dixon, will play the NoHo Arts Center, August 6-September 12. Debra De Liso will direct, with musical direction by Steven Applegate.

The autobiographical show is about a gay man who grew up in a conservative Mormon home in Utah and always wanted to be a performer. It follows his struggle to accept himself even as he yearns for the love and approval of those around him.

The production will feature scenic design by Lacy Anzelc, lighting design by Coby Chasman-Beck, and sound design by A.J. Nowak.
