Debbie Reynolds will perform her one-woman show, Debbie Reynolds: Alive & Fabulous for nine performances only at the El Portal Theatre, September 23-October 3.

In the show, Reynolds reminisces about her career with the aid of movie clips, as well as her three marriages and her more recent comedy and cabaret career.

She is best known for her star turns in MGM classics such as Singing in the Rain, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, and That’s Entertainment! On Broadway, she received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in the revival of Irene. Other stage credits include her one-woman show Debbie, seen at the Minskoff Theatre in 1976 and Woman of the Year.

The September 24 performance of the show will be a special fundraising event for the Thalians, an organization Reynolds founded with Ruta Lee to help raise money for mental health related causes. This benefit will begin with a silent auction and cocktail reception, followed by the performance.
