The Big Voice: God or Merman?, the hit show written by and co-starring Jim Brochu and Steve Schalchlin, will play a one-night benefit at 8pm on Saturday, July 25 at the Avery Schreiber Theater in Los Angeles. Proceeds will benefit Total Improv for Kids.

Previously seen in Los Angeles, where it won the Ovation Award for Best Musical, as well as Off-Broadway, the show chronicles the lives of its authors, a Baptist from Arkansas and a Catholic from Brooklyn, who first meet aboard a ship in the Atlantic Ocean and eventually become a couple. The pair previously collaborated on the hit musical The Last Session, which received Drama League and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations as Best Musical, as well as a GLAAD Media Award.

Tickets are $25 and can be ordered by calling 818-766-9100.
