Rodd, Rusler, Zimbalist Set for Rubicon’s The Spin Cycle

Marcia Rodd, Morgan Rusler, and Stephanie Zimbalist will star in the Rubicon Theatre Company’s world premiere production of David Rambo’s The Spin Cycle, July 31-August 24. The production, which opens officially on August 2, will be directed by James O’Neil.

The play concerns a baby boomer who returns to her childhood home, where her brother still lives. All three characters then tell their shared history from their own point of view. Rambo’s plays include God’s Man in Texas and The Lady With All The Answers and he wrote a stage adaptation of All About Eve.

The creative team includes Tom Buderwitz (sets), Rachel Myer (costumes), Nick McCord (lighting), and David Beaudry (sound). O’Neil is the company’s artistic director.
